An Introduction by Anna May Belle
After much planning, AnimeBelle.com launched on January 1st of 2003.  The original intention of the website was to create an e-zine covering the anime events in Florida and Georgia, but it quickly grew into much more.  Today, AnimeBelle.com is a thriving information hub for the southern anime community, providing news, interviews, a calendar of events, and a bustling forum for members of the southern anime community to come together and discuss their interests.  AnimeBelle.com is not a club, but rather is an association of anime fans, welcoming members of any club to take part in its forums and activities.  It is a completely drama-free environment; while members of all clubs are welcome, they are expected to leave their drama at the door, making this a place for anyone to mingle, post, and feel right at home.
 
AnimeBelle.com is also a sizable photo gallery, hosting over 15,000 photos of anime conventions, events and cosplayers in the south.  The Link Portal provides links to clubs, shops, AMVers, artists, cosplayers, fan films, music, photographers, and Japanese consulates, and cultural resources located all over the Southeastern United States.

About Ashley Clark, AKA Anna May Belle
ASHLEY CLARK is a multi-media artist and writer, and has been working in the anime style for nearly a decade. Her first webcomic, 'Shades of Red', debuted in 2003. She has since turned her attention to her newest literary project, 'Tales of Asajima'. You can enter the world of Asajima through the webnovel 'Nowaki', and continue your journey with the first of her print novels, 'The Yukari'.

Ashley has won numerous awards as not only an artist, but also as an AMV creator, cosplayer, and film editor. Within the anime community, Ashley is widely known as Anna May Belle, webmistress of AnimeBelle.com, one of the most highly regarded and popular anime websites in the south. AnimeBelle hosts a gallery containing over 24,000 photos with hundreds more added after every convention she attends. The website also hosts forums, guest interviews, event reporting, and a convention schedule of southern anime conventions.
