What Can AnimeBelle Do For You?

If you're running a convention or event, consider some of AnimeBelle's many panels and games!  If you are interested in having us run events, please contact Anna May at annamaybelle@animebelle.com for more information.

The Kimono Fashion Show
This is my premiere event, where I share my extensive private collection of vintage and unique kimono with anime fans. This event allows fans to see a wide range of kimono, from the most casual yukata, to the most formal furisode and ceremonial kuro-tomesode. This event requires a well-lit stage, microphone, and a well-lit dressing area. Kimono models will be selected by AnimeBelle prior to the convention, from amongst convention attendees.

Anime Trivia Bingo
Bingo with a twist!  Put your anime knowledge to the test.  You're given a card with anime trivia answers, not numbers, and questions are asked instead of calling out letters and numbers.  If you know the answer to the question and it's on your card, then mark it!  Easily our most popular panel.  Plays up to 74 players simultaneously.  Requires one microphone, and tables and chairs to seat up to 74 players.

100 Yen Pyramid
Based on the classic $10,000 Pyramid! Come and compete with others for dazzling prizes, and even a whopping 100¥!  Requires a projector, microphones are appreciated.

Inside The Anime Studio
Based on the TV show "Inside The Actor's Studio", Anna May performs a live interview with a guest before the audience, then opens the floor up for questions.  An excellent replacement for the tired old "Guest Q&A Panel" or an additional event.  Requires at least one microphone, two are preferable.

Shades of Red Voice-Acting Panel
Amateur voice actors will be chosen from the panel's attendees to fill the roles of the Shades of Red Webcomic hosted on AnimeBelle.com. Also, the award-Winning "Shades of Red: Prelude" fan film will be screened and we will discuss the future of the Shades of Red Webnovel.  Requires a projector and at least one microphone, though more are appreciated.

Kitsuke - The Art of Kimono
There's a lot more to kimono than tying on a bathrobe with a thick belt! Did you know there are 14 accessories involved in a young woman donning a kimono? The kimono you wear can say a lot about you, like gender, marital status, formality, and more. Learn all about choosing and wearing kimono properly.  We will bring real kimono to show off.  A projector is required, a microphone is appreciated.

AMV Game
Think you know a lot of anime? Proove it! Two players will be chosen at a time to watch AMVs that can have anywhere between 50 and 120 different anime in it, and the player who can name the most anime wins. Make sure you've got a fast eye and a good memory!  Requires a projector and speakers.

AMV Panel
A panel run by Ma Belle and Anna May Belle, showcasing their many award-winning AMVs, discussing the creative aspects of anime music videos.  We can also critique videos brought by the audience.  This panel requires a projector and speakers.  We can also run an "AMV For Women" panel variant, run by an all-female panel of AMV creators.  At least one microphone is appreciated.

Cosplay for Beginners
A panel run by Ma Belle, teaching tips and tricks for beginner to advanced cosplayers.  From blocking and practicing your skits, to posing, to packing everything you'll need for your convention weekend.  A microphone is appreciated.

Anime 101 For Parents
A panel aimed at parents who bring their children to the convention, to teach them what anime is, answer questions, clear up common stereotypes and misunderstandings.  A microphone is appreciated.

Topic-Specific Panels
We can run panels on Gundam, Type-Moon productions (Tsukihime, Fate/StayNight, Melty Blood, etc), Ukyio Monogatari..  Requires one microphone and a projector.
