There's nothing we love more than satellite reporters! However, there are certain rules. For starters, we're not accepting user-submitted interviews at this time; only interviews conducted by AnimeBelle staff will be posted.

What kinds of articles aren't allowed?
  • Please don't write articles that focus entirely on yourself, your website, or your friends. This isn't the place for fan fiction or advertising. There are places for all of these things on AnimeBelle.com, but the Articles section isn't it.
  • Reviews of anime you've watched.
  • Please do not write biased articles or pointless rants. Articles that focus on bashing individuals, clubs, or conventions will not be accepted.
So what kind of articles can be submitted
  • Recipes, sewing tips, cosplay scripting and performance, and other creative helpers.
In-depth looks at anime. If you have an article that delves into the theories and philosophies in Evangelion, or about the Japanese cultural references scattered in anime that others may not notice, it's welcome here. Just make sure it's not a simple review of a show.
  • Articles about Japanese culture (traditional and modern), the anime industry in Japan and America, and more. Don't be afraid to be original!
  • Fair and balanced convention and event reports that talk about what the convention did right, as well as what they could improve on next year.
Still interested in writing for AnimeBelle.com? Great!  Just send your article or con report to us at annamaybelle@animebelle.com. Make sure you have a friend proof-read your article for you, and run it through a spellchecker. Remember, you retain the copyright to your article, but AnimeBelle.com reserves the right to modify your article for grammar, censor for content or language, or make certain editorial changes. You will be notified if your article is modified before it's posted, and we won't post anything you don't agree to.
Please send articles either pasted into the body of the e-mail, or attached as a txt file. Unfortunately, I cannot accept zip or doc files. Make certain that the subject of your e-mail is "Feature Article Submission", to be sure it's not overlooked!
