April 19th
We have returned from JACON! Ma and I took over 900 photos, which are being uploaded in groups now. Remember, there are still a lot more to come! In any case, go ahead and check them out now.
On a side note, I was shocked by how many lurkers I met at JACON 2005. Yes, folks who say they visit the site all the time, and read the forums, but have never signed up... Most saying they "never have anything to say". Well, let me point out that we have a lot of things going on, on those forums! If you're a writer, costumer, cosplayer, AMV creator, or artist, then we have boards specifically catered to you. Like mecha? Got a board for that too. Like videogames? At long last, Shades of Red has returned! What is Shades of Red, you might ask? It's the webcomic hosted right here on AnimeBelle. Go and check it out, by clicking the button on the lower right side of this page. A lot of new additions will be coming to Shades of Red in the near future, expanding the website beyond just a webcomic...
On another note, the AnimeBelle Forums has gotten its 200th member! We're also steadily creeping up on the "20,000 Posts" mark. We've got a lot of people who are absolutely burning up the Forum Gaming board, and voting is in full swing now. ...Voting for what? Well, to be honest, I'm not really sure either.
