January 31st
Finally, the interview with Monica Rial from MetroCon is up! ...but wait, wasn't MetroCon back in July? Well, yes. This interview was delayed for a number of reasons, one of which being equipment failure. Second, Brett Weaver's interview had only been up for a month, which was much too soon to replace him. Lastly, MetroCon was the last Florida convention of the con-season that AnimeBelle represented at, thus the hit count had fallen dramatically, and Monica deserves more attention than that. But finally, the new conventions are coming again, and the interview is up! Look for more coming soon, so y'all come on back now, y'hear?

January 30th
The AnimeBelle forums now are now welcoming three people to the moderator staff! Be sure to check out the post under the Updates board to find out more, and send them your 'congrats'. If you haven't signed up on the AnimeBelle forums yet, then now's a great time. We usually get a flood of new folks and new topics coming in after the first conventions of the year, and Anime Express is just a month and a half away!
On a side note, I did a little cleanup of my photo galleries the other day. Some people had left some very rude and inappropriate comments on some of the photos... I was shocked, and very upset by this. I'm going to have to keep a much closer eye on the photo galleries from now on... The 'comments' feature is there for people to discuss costumes and events, identify unknown characters, and let people know who they cosplayed at conventions. Please don't abuse this feature; if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

January 24th
No more long load times for the front page! The 2004 news updates have been archived to their own little page, which you can find a link for at the bottom of this page. Speaking of links, the temporary website for Anime Express is up. Since it's the first anime con of the Florida season, make sure you check it out. A new site will be coming soon and I'll be sure to let you know when it does. To check out the temporary site, go and take a look in the Upcoming Events section. There's also more information about guests and convention details on our forums. And don't forget about that new calendar feature on the forums! Check it out , add your birthday to your profile, and so on. Y'all come on back now, y'hear?

January 11th
Wuaaagh, that took way longer than expected! But the forums have finally returned, and are better than ever! No, I'm not just being over dramatic. Some neat new features have been added. New features include a more advanced profile, so you can add things like your birthday, gender, etc. Some rank titles are even gender-specific now. When you add your birthday, it becomes listed on the calendar, which will soon also list convention dates and such. There's also a buddy list, and an ignore list. Things may be a tad buggy at the moment, but Presence and I are working to get it all straightened out as I type this. Also, an FAQ will be coming very shortly, to explain the new features. Y'all come on back and keep on chattin' up a storm now, y'hear?

January 06th
Don't panic! Whatever you do, don't panic! Aaaah! ...Okay. Now that that's out of my system, I'll explain. I'm in the process of working on the forums right now and adding some new, and neat features. And that's why their broken. If this isn't completely logical to you, then you've never tried to install anything before. But don't worry, things will be back and running soon! Worst case scenario means the forums don't get a new add-on, but they won't get permanently broken or anything. Y'all come on back and check in soon now, y'hear?
