June 28th
We have returned from MetroCon 3, and boy was it awesome! We had a wonderful time and took a ton of photos... Though you may have noticed the recent downtime. While we were gone, the website's server underwent a move. While the hardware had served AnimeBelle and several other websites well for the last eight months, it was time for an upgrade. The move went relatively smoothly but took some time. Most things should be straightened out by now.
Speaking of all of those photos we took, a hundred and fifty of them are up now in the MetroCon 3 gallery! We took more photos at this con than we've ever taken before, so it will be a while before we can get them all online, but we plan to upload them steadily for the next few days. In the meantime, check them out, post comments, sign up for our forums... We'll be letting you know as more stuff is added, so y'all come on back now, y'hear?

June 23rd
Well, tomorrow is the first day of MetroCon! We're looking forward to seeing this convention and its new venue. We'll be bringing back hundreds of photos from the event, as always, and we'll also be running our AnimeBelle Trivia Bingo event on Saturday night. If you're attending Metro, make sure you come and see us! We try to take photos of as many cosplayers as we can, but we can't get everyone... So don't be shy! If you see us, come and ask us to take your photo. We love it. So y'all come on down to see AnimeBelle at MetroCon now, y'hear?

June 3rd
Wow! It's been a while. Too long, really... The last time I made a post on the front page was almost a month ago. At the time I was requesting assistance with revamping the Features section, through user-submitted articles. To date, the number of article submissions has reached a grand total of none. Yep. Nobody's sent in an article. Or even talked to me about writing anything. Bleh.
In any case, there are a lot of things coming up soon. In fact, if you hail from Texas, there's a good chance you're at A-Kon 16 right now. MetroCon is exactly three weeks away, and Anime Festival Orlando is in early August. Or, if you're in Texas, then you'll be looking for O-Chibi Con that weekend. If you're an AMV creator, then you'd better get a move on it, because the submission deadlines for Anime Weekend Atlanta are rapidly approaching! This will be the last year for the Masters competition at AWA, which means the last opportunity to win the coveted Masters jacket. Going to be updating more regularly again, so y'all come on back now, y'hear?
