April 30th
Well, I did make a news post before leaving for JACON 2006, but I missed the key step... Where I actually upload the update. If you're curious, you can read it below. But Ma Belle and I are back now, and we had a blast! We took a ton of photos, which we'll soon be sorting, retouching, and uploading with Pa Belle's assistance.
If you couldn't make it to JACON in Orlando, Florida, then hopefully you made it to Shiokazecon in Houston, Texas. We're almost a month away from the next anime convention on the radar, which is Animazement in Durham, North Carolina. It starts out four straight weeks of anime conventions... Metrocon 4, Persacon, A-Kon 17, OMG!con, Anime Mid-Atlantic, and Houkocon are all hot on each other's heels too, so if you want to get any costumes, artwork, or AMVs done for those events, you had better get on it now! As always, we'll be doing our best to keep you up to date on everything. So y'all come on back now, y'hear?

April 28th
At long last, all of the Anime Express IX photos are finally up! And not a moment too soon either, as Ma Belle and I will be off to JACON 2006 today! This means no more updates until Sunday unfortunately. But we'll come back with a lot of photos like we always do, and with any luck we'll be posting these a lot more quickly than we managed with AE9. So check out all of the galleries, make lots of comments (but mind your manners!), and enjoy! We'll be back soon, so y'all come on back now, y'hear?

April 19th
Gah! What a rollercoaster ride this has been! The AnimeBelle forums still have some bugs but are mostly functional. The member list and private message systems are down right now, but I'm hoping to have those repaired soon. User Profiles have reverted back to their old format, so while all of the user information like age remain intact, there's currently no way to modify that. On the plus side, smilies and tags now work like they're supposed to, so it's not all bad!
The long awaited Anime Express IX photos are coming soon. If you're lucky enough to live in the Nashville, Tennessee area, then hopefully you've made plans to attend MTAC 6th Period this weekend. I definitely envy you! But if you're too far away to make it, more fun events are coming the very next weekend. While Houston, Texas is hosting Shikazecon, the Belles will personally be attending JACON 2006 in Orlando, Florida. We wish we could make it to everything, but Orlando's only a couple of hours away! There are a lot of great events coming in the next couple of months so be sure to check the Upcoming Events page. Y'all come on back soon now, y'hear?
