January 28th
It's been a long time coming, but we've finally posted the Shaft AMV, "Who's The Man?" in our AMVs section! It's in MPEG format so just about anybody should be able to view it. Just download and unzip the .zip file, and enjoy! We'll also be adding another AMV in a few days as well, so make sure you keep checking back. In other words... Y'all come on back now, y'hear?

January 25th
We've added a whopping seven conventions to our events list! Some are new, and some we don't have any clue how we never heard of before now. They're all over the south, so wherever you are, make sure you check out the list to find out if there's going to be an event near you soon. Ya never know when we might run across something new, so y'all come on back now, y'hear?

January 11th
It's been a while since a new board was added to the forums! One of the things I hear quite often, are cosplayers, or just convention-attendees, asking where they can find kimonos and the numerous accessories that go with them. Also questions about patterns, sleeve lengths, obi knots, types of fabric, how to sew your own, and more... It can be pretty overwhelming for someone who's at the start of learning about kimono!
Thus, I've added the "Kitsuke - Art of Kimono" board to our forums! It's designed for the discussion of every aspect of kimono, modern, historic, and just plain unique, as well as asking questions and posting photos of your own kimono. Here's hoping the new board does well! Y'all come on back now, y'hear?

January 10th
All of the AnimeSouth photos are finally up! It took a while, but they're all there, at last. Make sure you check them out, post comments, and such. And don't be afraid to sign up on our forums and tell us who you were. AnimeSouth is a small con which gives us the opportunity to meet more people than we'd normally get to meet at any other con. Also, the Upcoming Events page has been updated with new info about the 2006 conventions. The so called "con season" seems to have disappeared, with conventions occurring every month except July, October, and December! It's looking to be a great, and busy year... So y'all come on back soon now, y'hear?

January 2nd
Offline... What a beautiful way to spend AnimeBelle's 3rd birthday, eh? It turns out that the server that AnimeBelle is hosted on had a little hiccup over the Holiday weekend. And unfortunately, the only person who has the authority to call in to the company yesterday and say "hey, reboot this box", couldn't be found, because... you guessed it... it was New Year's Day.
In any case, we're back up and running smoothly again! Most importantly, we want to thank everyone who's supported AnimeBelle throughout the years, and those who continue to do so. Remember, supporting doesn't just include clicking the PayPal Donations button, or purchasing merchandise in our store (though those are very helpful!)... Support also means posting on our forums, in our galleries, attending our events, and chatting in the AnimeBelle Chat Room.
So where did all of the previous news posts go? Well, into the 2005 archive of course! Just click one of the links at the bottom of this page to get to them. Thanks again to everyone for such a great year, and here's hoping for many more! Y'all come on back now, y'hear?
